AVON Haul

I love it when Hannah the Avon girls calls at my house because it usually always means its time to play with new nail varnishs or body treatments or a new wonder hair oil. 

Well last night she called and wait til you see my latest Avon Haul I absolutely love the nail varnishes the bottle are a great size, the consistency of the varnish is perfect, the level of colour pigment is amazing and they last about 1 week without chips (when used with the topcoat).

 I have quite a collection now and have just written another rather substantial order for some gorgeous purples and blues. 

As I am working at Girls Day Out with all the Benefit Beauties this weekend I thought I would paint my nails in some Benefit inspired colours so I chose Avon Nail wear Pro+ in Coral Reef and Golden Vision. I then sealed these fab colours in place with the Avon top coat and wahla...

Also decided I was finally going to try a pot of gel eyeliner, I have always been a bit hesitant as I love the sleek line that original liquid liners give. I went for the Avon Super Shock liner pot in Blackened Metal. This liner isn't completely jet black it has glitter through it and gives more of a smokey line but I do like it on its a lot softer. I think this product will be amazing for creating  really smokey eye. When using as a liquid liner use the Real Techniques Accent Brush or Benefit Hard Angle Brush for a perfect sharp line.

And my final little bargain from Avon this month was a Ultra Colour Rich Brilliance Lipstick in Vermillion. On this Lipstick is a coral infused red, its super soft on the lips, reasonably long lasting and the colour pigment is fab!

Wrapping up Christmas

Recently I have been writing a lot of posts about gift ideas so today I was thinking about how I was going to wrap up all my gifts this year and the card I would be giving along with the gift. I went on a hunt for some lovely gift wrapping ideas and found so many. Also I was in Ikea last night and although I didn't take any pictures they had so many wonderful Christmas accessories including some really cute vintage style paper gift bags. I have stolen a couple of images of the bags, cards and gift wrap I seen from the Ikea website to show you...

Another retailer that has some wonderful gift wrapping ideas is Not On the Highstreet, alot of the gift wrapping and card ideas they have can also be personalized.

I know Christmas Cards are such a dated idea and so little people actually give them any more. But I love to give them, I just love giving a really nicely wrapped gift alongside a very pretty card with something meaningful wrote inside. I must admit I don't give Christmas cards to everyone I know like our parents do, just the people special enough to get a gift get a card from me.

Giving a little Etsy (Part 1)
