Masquarade Ball

Masquarade Ball

So My friend Laura has asked me to come up with an outfit for her for a masquarade ball themed wedding she is going to. I have a couple of ideas for you my lovely. Above is my favourite I love the dress and it is from Very.co.uk like you asked. I would also wear this gorgeous hand chain as well from New Look as your hand will be on show a lot as you are holding the mask.

Here are a few other dresses from very I liked that would match the gold accessory and mask theme, hope you love them Laura.

Much love, M x

Relaxed Tweed

Relaxed Tweed

Another post theme requested by a friend. So my lovely friend Shona asked me to come up with a look for her that fit the description of town meets county with an aspect of tweed that didn't cost her a fortune. Well this is what I have came up with I hope you like it Shona.

First of all I will begin with the tweed element, the trousers that although are in keeping with the tweed theme are very up to date in fashion terms also as they have the thick black stripe vertically along the outside of each leg. Tucked into your new trousers would be this super cute white lace frilly sleeveless shirt. Over that a light leather jacket to keep the outfit casual and to finish a pair of Zara's simple black velvet pumps.

The total this outfit would cost you is £111 which I think is amazing considering you are getting a lovely pair of shoes, that will go with almost anything, and a real leather jacket. =D

You 'and bump' shall go to the ball.

After I posted the Pretty Baby blog this afternoon, I received another request from a friend Chevonne who is soon going to the Races and needs a beautiful dress to wear that will flatter her baby bump and not just make her look fat. So I have found a few different dresses that I think are all absalutely stunning and all from Tiffany Rose Special Occasion Maternity Wear, this brand is popular amongst celebrities whilst pregnant as the dresses are one of few that are of a decent standard for pregnant ladies.

This beutiful white gown named the Anastacia was worn by Hollie Willougby when she was pregnant.

And the Grecian Maternity gown was worn by Una Healy when she was expecting.
The following dresses are other from the Tiffany Rose site that I particularly picked out and wanted to bring to you attention, I hope this post has helped any ladies who still want to look fashion forward whilst pregnant.

Pretty Baby

My third and final request today came from a friend called Dani who is pregnant and wanted me to help her source some maternity outfits that are fashionable and did not make her feel like a granny. Well I have found you four outfits plus a coat, shown above in you mood board, my favourite is the black coat. This black beauty is such a bargain at only £35 from H&M, the tailoring and design make it look much more expensive.

The other item I got quite excited about was the shoes, they have been designed by a French maternity wear brand known as Seraphine. Although these do have quite an expensive price tag, I read a number of reviews and they are meant to be the most comfortable maternity shoes out there. Below is the pictre explaining the comfort expertise in a bit more detail.

Soft Elagance

Soft Elagance
My second demanded look belongs to my friend Andrea, she asked me to come up with a look for a lady in her thrities that is trendy but affordable and so here it is. The grand total of this outfit is £159 and that is including the boots which were the most expensive item at £64 from Zara. Replace the boots with a more affordable (probably less beautiful) pair and you would bring that total right down.

The cut of the flare jean is very flatering as it gives your body the hour glass shape, as is the white top I've chosen it emphasises your small waste and does not allow the material to hang from the chest straight down. It has a favorable fit with again more flare and most importantly the little cap sleaves are perfect for women who do not like the tops of thier arms.. This idea is kept going in what is my favourite item the jacket the shape and the fit is very flattering and perfect for pulling in at just the right area, Also it is a good lenght to cover anything that you want to hide (not that Andrea has anything left to hide now). The finishing touch is the cute little white embellished cuff, this completes this simple look.

Below are an alternative pair of boots that could be worn with both the jeans and with this nude floral lace tunic below, teamed with legins or thick black tights this makes a sophisticated yet trendy outfit for a number of different occasions.

Casual Crop

Casual Crop

So today I asked if anyone had any problems they would like me to address in a blog I had 3 responses and the first was from my good friend Rachel.

Rachel's looking for a new black leather jacket and asked my opinions on styles so I suggested from personal experience a cropped style as it is the most flattering shape. The leather doesn't bunch up or make you look square or boyish it finishes at a girls smallest part her waist, which should always be emphasised. Not only did Rachel wish for me to find her a jacket but she also asked for some ideas about casual outfits.

So Rach above is your very own mood board, as you can see I have found you two leather jackets both without studs (maximising the amount of time you can wear the jacket once the stud trend passes). On the left is my favourite and the cheapest of the two this little beauty I found on EBay and is amazingly only currently priced at £12.50. However there are 3 days left to bid but if I was you I would pick a maximum amount you want to spend and set up auction stealer to come in in the last few seconds and steal it for you! The second leather jacket on the right is from Miss Selfridge, I liked this one as its got a bit of a twist its not just leather but has an almost snake effect, its more expensive though at £49.

If wearing either of these jackets casually you can choose from loads of different looks, the look I've shown above is on trend at the moment and is so easy and comfortable to wear. The top is my favourite and its a bargain from H&M for only £30 as you will be able to wear this with multiple different items and create different looks. Would also be nice with a pair of black skinny jeans and you shoe boots you love or a beautiful new pair like the pair below from EBay.
Also Rach with your leather jacket any kind of over sized jersey top paired with skinny jeans and pumps like the leopard pair shown in your mood board and finished with the cross necklace would also make a easily cool casual look. I particularly like this top below from Topshop.
